The GU Anime Club attends two anime conventions in the area, one each semester. This year we will be attending AnimeUSA and Katsucon.

Another anime convention, Otakon, in the area happens over the summer. As school is not in session, the club cannot declare it an official event. However, for those around in the area, it is highly recommended to attend as it is the second largest anime convention in the US. Additionally, the club organizes an unofficial trip to Otakon, though funding cannot be obtained since it does not take place during the school year.
