The first campus-based court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas has been formed right here at Georgetown University. This group of Catholic women shares a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and focuses on service and spiritual development.
From its inception in 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas has grown and developed into the largest organization of Catholic women in the Americas. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, its members are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See.
The purposes of the organization are to participate in the religions, charitable and educational Apostolate's of the Church. Catholic Daughters of the Americas engage in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world.
Catholic Daughters of the Americas strive to embrace the principal of faith through love in the promotion of justice, equality the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.
