M.E.Ch.A Members,
As another year comes to an end, the outgoing M.E.Ch.A Board would like to thank all of our members for a great and productive year!
Your help and support made 2006-2007 a defining chapter in M.E.Ch.A de Georgetown's history. This year we rallied against hate and racism, we supported justice and tolerance in the face of a xenophobic Chris Simcox; we organized and expanded our support within the Georgetown community. M.E.Ch.A welcomed high school kids from around the country in support of bringing diversity to education. On the cultural front, we hosted our 6th annual Latino Welcome dinner and helped to breathe life into Georgetown's first Latino showcase. Your dedication and passion have made M.E.Ch.A what it is today, an embodiment of Georgetown's ideals and a truly outstanding organization.
