Georgetown University Men's Club Lacrosse

The Georgetown University Men's Club Lacrosse team has recently emerged as one of the finest programs in the country.  In 2006, the team lost in the Sweet Sixteen of the National Tournament and finished the season ranked 13th in the nation. In 2007, the team made the post season tournament for the second straight year and finished in the top 25.

The GU Club Lax team participates in the National Club Lacrosse League (NCLL) and is a member of the Capitol Conference.  Other members of the conference include: University of Maryland, Frostburg University, George Washington, George Mason, Howard, and Mount St. Mary's.

Each year the team plays many of the best programs in the area and in past seasons have played teams such as Towson, Virginia, Loyola, Delaware, Penn State, Princeton, Ohio State, and even the Irish National Team.
