SJP is an advocacy group on campus that educates about the Palestinian/Israeli Conflict. We believe that justice must be achieved for peace to occur in the region. SJP welcomes individuals of all ethnic and religious backgrounds to join in solidarity with the struggle for justice in Palestine. SJP also hosts cultural events that promote Arab and Palestinian culture on campus.
On April 13, 2010, SJP will launch a campaign to encourage the university to divest from companies that profit from violations of international law and abuses of human rights in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
