YLEAD is a dynamic pre-orientation program for incoming first-year Georgetown students that seeks to foster dialogue and action on complex issues including (but not limited to): sexual orientation, religion, race, class, gender, ability, and age. In this peer-led program students are immersed in the basics of diversity education and identity exploration
Mission Statement: In YLEAD, we explore our own individual and collective identities, the intersections of those identities, and how we interact with each other with the goal of effecting positive change in our campus and community.
For the Class of 2015, this program will take place at Georgetown University from August 21-27, 2011.
